    hello,

    my parents and in-laws visa have been approved
    here is their experiences at mumbai consulate

    dad is retired teacher and doing farming now. mom house wife
    parent visa date 7-mar-14
    I provided sponsorship for their visa
    I am on H1 and also sponsoring my wife (on H4) education
    VO to my mom - how many kids you have?
    mom : two
    VO: where r they and what do they do?
    mom : son is in US working as a soft engg and daughter is in pune working as a soft engg
    VO: does your daughter have any any kids ?
    mom : no
    VO to dad : for how many days you are going to US ?
    dad : around a month
    VO: when you planning to go?
    dad: in first week of May 14
    VO: ur visa is approved
    we taken marathi translator but there was no translator at the time of interview, VO himself was speaking in marathi and sometime in hindi.
    other than passport, he did not ask any document


    In-laws interview date date 5-mar-14
    father in law retired officer in WCL and mother in law house wife
    Since I already sponsored my parents, we decided In-laws should be self sponsored.
    VO to mother in law : are you working?
    mother in law - no.
    VO: how many kids you have? and where are they?
    mother in law : 2 daughters and a son. one daughter is in US, one is in nagpur and a son is in pune.
    VO asked couple of questions to father in law about the job he was working like what kind of job? what is WCL? job profile? duties?
    so father in law gave details about it.
    VO: when are you planning to go ?
    father in law - first week of june
    VO: when you planning to go ?
    father in law : first week of june
    VO: ur visa is approved
    marathi translator was present there at the time of interview.
