Change the sponser

My mother in law and father in law attended the visitor visa interview couple of months back and visa got rejected for some reason.at that time I am not the sponsor for the trip.

Now we are planning to apply visitor visa once again... Can I send my documents to sponsor this time?

Can you suggest me is there any chance of asking the reason for changing the sponser?
