What should my mom/dad say ?

History:
My bro did mbbs in 2005 , cleared usmle step1, did gov. job for 4 years , got canadian PR , gave usmle step 2 ck in 2012 cleared . He got married in 2012 Nov. Moved to US in dec 2012 , gave usmle step 2 CS but couldnt clear usmle step cs till 2014 , now he trying to get residency but he had to do some extra courses. he has 1y3m old daughter. he is Legal PR and will get his green card next year.

I know , the first question to my mom/dad would be why you want to go to us ? Ans (mom/dad) - to see my grand-daughter for the first time.

2nd what does he do there ? --- how should my mom/dad answer this question ?

my mom is working as science teacher in govt. school. dad retired.

they should apply only when he gets into a residency position or has some other paid job in the medical field.

Other factors;
1.what is his visa status now, if his green card will arrive next year? what is the basis of his green card?

2.Who will be funding, do parents have strong savings like 15-20 lacs to show self funding?

i am sorry, i said it wrong. He is green card holder and his card will renew on 6 may 2014 [2 years complete] [ basis: marriage ]
bro's wife is doing her residency in hospital.

my parents are funding the trip , yes they have amount in savings account.

my mother is having holidays from 1 june to 30 june , 2014 . that is when they are applying [ for 28 days ]

rest all is ok, it will be better if they wait till he is employed , even if in a research capacity, as sometimes the officers are looking for a reason to deny.
