Visitor Visa for Sister

I am glad to see positive entry in the website for above subject. That was encouraging.Coming to my Question


I am in US since Jan 05 on H1 B . I wanted to invite my sister to US from Mumbai for a couple of months holiday.
She is unmarried , working in Mumbai.

Please guide with following questions

a) Should I sponser or request somone else - relative (who is greencard or citezen) to do so. ( Would someoneelse sponsering likely to cause some raised eyebrows)
b) Any special suggestions to ensure better chances of visa approval.

Be advised that young, single people wishing to come to US for pleasure
will find it very hard to get a visitor visa. Consulars do not trust them to come back to India. Even to have a small chance, she will have to show
a permanent, very well paying job in India to convince the officer.
And if she has enough money of her own, it is better that no one sponsors
her ; she should say she is spending her own money to go for a small
vacation. In that case, you'll only need to send an invitation letter.
