Got visitor visa at Calcutta consulate
Questions asked
To Mom
Q: Why do you want to go to UA
A: To visit and see my child
Q: How long you want to go
A: 3 to 4 months (it was mentioned a 4 months)
Q: Tell the actual months
A: 4 months
Q: How many children do you have
A: 4 sons, one in USA and the others are in India
Q: No daughter
A: No

Q:Your son has been in USA since 97 and why are you going so late
A: After retirement, I had to do lot of paperwork on retirement and arranged wedding my 2 sons and some personal committments
Q: What are the places you want to visit in USA
A: New York, Las Vegas etc etc
Q: You can visit all these places in 2 months, then why 4 months
A: We are getting older and would like to take rest in between visits and also want to spend some time with my child and hence 4 months
After that the CO advised that please go and enjoy. Go and get ready to fly. Go and return without any problems
They just asked: 156, 157, 134 passports, photographs and fees that's it.
I take this oppurtunity to thank all of the members of IMMIHELP and this website for helping me on this. Now it i payback time and I will be around for some more days in this site to reply.
