If someone gets a purpose of trip (1 year in advance), can they apply for the visa from now on ?
Here's my case, so you can tell me how strong/or weak is my general condition as an applicant to apply for now.
I am a senior medical student, got accepted for 2 months clinical rotation elective at Texas Heart Institute, and to complete the process, as the program coordinator stated "I have to provide the following as soon as available: 1- Malpractice insurance 2- Health or travel insurance 3- photocopy of the Visa." Therefore, I don't want to make any travel plans or purchase insurance until issuance my Visa at first. That's why, I want to apply ASAP. This makes me wonder if should I mention this reason to the counselors in the interview, whether they asked me directly or Not, why did you apply so early?
Thanks
