Old Passport with visa

Hi,
Can anyone help me out?
My Mother has visitor's visa stamped in her old Indian Passport and the visa is valid until mid of next year .She now has her renewed (new) Indian passport.
Does she need to get visa stamped in her new Indian passport?
If she carries both old and new passports, would that be ok?

Also, she plans to travel by Lufthansa or British Airways from Chennai to Wisconsin.Could anyone please let me know which airlines is best?
Need someones input as its been a while since I travelled.Also, since, she will be traveling with her old and new passport,I don't want her to get into issues.

it is a common thing.
She does not need a new visa.
Just needs to travel with both the passports.

a suggestion;
if she is going to mlwaukee , it is only one hr drive from chicago airport. she can take etihad airways to Chicago from chennai which will take her via abu dhabi. Abu Dhabi has a US pre clearance facility. That is a big advantage for elderly people traveling alone as she will be technically admitted to US right at abu dhabi ( no
immigration at chicago) and you will rest assured.
