  • Visa - pregnancy

    Hi Guys,

I am planning to bring my mom to help us during pregnancy. Any suggestions. My mom is a housewife and my father is a tailor and have a younger brother

    1. Can my mom attend visa interview alone or should my father also accompany her.? what are the chances of getting visa if she attends it alone.
    2. Seen many posts say not to mention pregnancy.? If she is going for visa interview alone, does vacation sound suspicious
    3. what additional documents would be required ? property papers etc?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Praveen

they should apply together and if they get the visa, let your dad travel too even though for a short period. duration mentioned on the form is important too. It should not
    exceed 2-3 months.

documents are not that important but still they must carry an invite from you and a copy of your visa, petition( if H1/L1) and your sponsorship papers( I-134, salary proof etc.).
parents must be able to answer where you are working exactly, how much are you earning , what is your visa status . sometimes parents are ignorant of these facts
and cannot answer them and are then denied.

      Thanks,

So can we say pregnancy as a reason?

If both my father and mother get visa, can my mother alone can travel?

      thanks for your time
