  • visitor visa for my family

    HI
    i am mahesh i'm in usa on f1 visa i have done my masters and waiting for my parents and brother 23year old to visit US they are going for visa on 23rd july. once they visit US i am also going back to India after the trip. since i don't have a job my cousin's husband is sponsoring for the visa documents he is working in USA for the past 7years in the same company. coming to our financial status we have a business which is very very good we have lot of properties, own house, our business, farms etc. i know its a doubt case for my brother he is doing his master in UK and he has summer break for college and the trip will be in the summer break so i really don't want him to be left behind. the trip will be for one and a half month. and i'm currently living in my cousin house. question is will all 3 of them get visa if they say that he is studying in UK, show them the fee receipt and tell them the trip is for the summer only and also show them my graduation certificate as proof that i am in usa and tell them it is a family trip and want nobody to be left behind.

    please give me suggestions

    Thank you
    Mahesh

    getting sponsored by a distant relative is not recommended. Especially when they are rich and earning well, what was the need to show sponsorship from US?
    They should have shown self funding.

    Please post what they wrote to the question " who is paying?" on the form DS160? for each applicant?

        when were they denied? what was the income they wrote? If they were self funding the last time how did the cousin's name even come up? Was she mentioned as the
        person they were visiting?

            you have not mentioned when they were denied.

            Did they mention you in the application? ( under immediate relative)

            Maybe you can give full details of the interview, the cause for denial can be found.

            50L /yr income is very good for self funding and should not cause a denial.

                you still have not mentioned when they were denied. it is important to note the interval between two applications.

                they should not have omitted your presence in US. that was not good. they can find out from last name.

                also you said your cousin's husband sponsored, then you said your parents said they are visiting daughter????

                    Mistakes;
                    1.do not use nieces as daughters for official purposes like visa.
                    they thought she was their real daughter ( because nobody calls niece a daughter) and not knowing about her husband'w work
                    they were surprised and so denied.

                    2.Do not omit immediate relatives in US. Now if they will include you in the form and if the officer asks them when did you go there
                    their previous omission can be caught.

                    Bottom line;
                    have they submitted the form or not yet?

                      So now they should not mention me in the form now
                      Do they verify this application with the old one

                        the best policy for US visa is to be honest and precise.

                        People who reapply after denial, their old application is in front of the officer in his computer.

                        Their last application was messed up so I do not know what to suggest.

                        Also please post what did they write to the questions in their last app;

                        1. Immediate relatives; what did they write?
                        2.other relatives ; yes or no.

                          In immediate relatives nothing and other relatives was yes its my cousin sister

                          We are going honest this time
                          But for immediate relative thing I believe the best answer if my father answers will be "we didn't thing my son is called a relative in the application he is family and did not think he is considered a relative
