HELP!Interview dates at a different counsulate than the state of residency.

Hi,
My mother for whom I am trying to schedule visa interview lives in Maharashtra.But the dates available at the Mumbai counsulate are in March.I would like her to come to USA sooner.The dates available at the Delhi counsulate are in December.She can travel to Delhi for the interview.

Can I schedule her interview at the Delhi counsulate?
