Sponsoring visitor visa within 2 months

Hi, i and my wife will be moving to US from India on an L1/L2 visa. Can I sponsor visitor visa for my mother in law within 2 months of our arrival in US ? Will showing sufficient bank balance (4 months bank statement of Indian bank and 2 months statement of US bank) suffice ? What additional documents will help in getting the visitor visa in this case ? She can not sponsor herself. Also, no one else from India can sponsor her.

technically there is nothing stopping you from sponsoring after 2 months of entering US, but just that fact can bring your MIL a denial.
the reason ; shows desperation to be with you guys when you have just left ;so more likelihood of her not returning.

By the way, what about FIL? And does she have other children in INdia?
