Wrong Year on Birth on Birth Certificate

Hi,
I want to apply tourist visa for my parents, however my year of birth on Birth Certificate differs from my year of birth on Passport. Can someone please guide me to resolve it?

birth certificate is not mandatory for a visitor visa. and for parents' visa they are not going to look at your date of birth.

But such a discrepancy can be a problem for you in future, if it has already not been a problem.
