    Hi ,

While filling out the application for setting up the appointment at the consulate , there is a box which asks to state if the applicant is currently employed or not . My question is this " What are the implications if the applicant was employed during the period he/she requested an appointment and during the interim wait period quit his/her job ?" . Does the consular officer have a copy of the appointment request and if so what should one do in such a situation.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated .

    Karthik.

At any point in time, answer according to whatever the truth is.

If the person is employed at the time of appointment, say so.
If the person is unemployed at the time of interview, say so.
