Birth Certificate

Hi

My mom is going for interview on Dec 13th in chennai. I read through this site that she has to produce the Birth certificate of mine(after oct. 1st). I don't have the Birth certificate. The problem in getting it is my dob is different from original. I want to know how far this Birth certificate is important to the interview.
