Mother traveling alone on Visitor Visa

My father and mother got their first visitor visa approved on 16th June 14. They had plans to travel to US on 7th July 14. But my father has some urgent work and he doesn't want to travel now. Can my mother travel alone?

- Will there be any issue if my mother is traveling alone to US? Any issue at POE ?

Urgent help needed.
