Duration required for 2nd visit on B2

Sorry If this has been answered.
My parents came to US for the first time on 29th sept'2013,they left US on 23rd mar'2014.
I want to call them again on 20th august'2014., it would be 5 months after their first visit.
At POE,i am suggesting them to say they are visiting only for 2 months.
Is there any problem with this?.. Please somebody advice

Frequent long term visits can potentially jeopardize future B2 chances and entry. Though there are no official rule around the same but one should use visitor visa to visit and not to stay for extended period of time.

B2 visas as well as admission on them is discretionary. So if the officer's feel something out of ordinary they may not allow entry. If lucky they may get away, but seeing the recent trends it would be surprising if they are not questioned extensively around a revisit within 5 Months.
Best case, they may be allowed entry for another 6 Months, worst case be asked to go back.

I believe if they say 2 Months they may be given I-94 only for 2 Months with no EOS option and a warning. Wouldn't advise stretching your luck.

actually I will be taking US citizenship and applying for their immigration as well by the end of this year,so I thought why not call them before itself.
this is the only time they will be coming on b2,most pro****ly by end of this year or early next year they will have their immigration done.
I want them here for some special reason in august,so was worried if I should go ahead and call them or wait for few more months.
Is there any rule like the second visit should be AFTER 6 months of stay in home country????

There is no such rule but as I said earlier, advisable to not appear to be staying while on visitor visa.
