Need B1 while being on H1 in the US...?

1. Is it possible for a new employer to request B1 while the employee they are hiring is on H1 for another company.

2. Can B1 be stamped in US or how abt Canada / Mexico

3. How abt dependent H4 Visa change...

First of all, let's make basics clear.

Business visa is given to people who are outside US and would like to come to US to conduct business meetings, take orders, give orders, take project specifications etc.

It is not meant to do business in USA or work for any employer in US. You can't get paid salary while on business visa.

In such a scenario, why would some employer want a person to get business visa if he is already in the US on H1 through another company? Does the individual really represent some company overseas?
