visitor visa and dependent visa

Can some one file for visitors visa for parents and dependent visa for wife with in month? Some people are suggesting that we should visitors visa first than dependent visa.. Is there any dependency on each other? Is one visa impacts outcome of other visa?

please be more specific as to the nature of dependent visa; h-4, f-2, j-2, L-2 , which one is it?

Dependent visa is H4.

No. there is no interdependence. They can even apply both at one window.
to add;
H-4 is a simple case of derivative of H-1 .
while a Visitor visa decision will depend on a lot of factors; parents' life situation ( eg work status, income, other children in India, duration of visit)
