VFS - Visa appoitment

Has anybody tried taking an appointment from Visa centers (i.e Vijawada)? I am looking to take an appointment online for my parents and dates are not availble for Telugu?

Can someone share the experience incase if you already tried through visa centers?

The problem is most people are looking for information here, however not willing to contribute what they learn during the process.

Question about appointments in Telugu has been asked several times but no one has answered. I am sure someone must have figured it out.

I am not sure how the visa centers will work...but online appointments has become worst. i dont know what the heck is going on internally.
I am looking at telugu appointments from last one month..its always showing 'Dates are not available'. I have sent couple of emails to VFS also but no response from them.
TTS is showing 7 days available in Feb 2006 for telugu. Why don't they transfer those days into VFS?
God knows whats going on there.

forget abt regional language, now even for english its showing 'dates are not available" for cateogries working in USA(h1,L1), dependents(H4, L4) and visitor.
one more question..can someone tell what difference it makes for issuing a visa between "spouce/child of person studying in USA", and "spouce/child of person working in USA" categories..??
why i am asking is for first category there are two days available in feb last week...where as no dates available for second category. is there any special preference for person's studying in USA..??
the availability of dates depends on what visa you are applying for.
can some one tell me whats the logic behind this..??

we took appointment in vijayawada last 2 weeks back for telugu . appointment date is in March 06 ... May be right now they didn't open slots ... try again...

My Dad went to Vijayawada and heard almost same message. They suggest him to look on Internet since your son is in US. They said that that is better way and they can't even see any dates open. Looks like they are even see what we see on VFS website 'NO DATES ARE AVAILABLE'..
