Visitors Visa from Canada to the US

Hello,

My brother is planning to visit me for Christmas.He is currently studying in Canada on a students visa.He has been there since Aug 05.I am in California.His interview is scheduled for 14th of Nov.So if someone has any tips plz reply.

Should not be a problem since he is a student in canada.
But still he will need to meet the two criteria that are required for
a visitor visa, ties to home country (he may be asked about his plans
after his studies in canada are over.and he must answer describing his intent to return to India and his family ties to India) and enough funds for the trip( since he is a student ,he will be asked about who is funding his studies and
how he will afford the trip to US).
He should match his duration of stay with his vacation period at his school in canada.
You could send a letter to him (addressed to the consular , US embassy)
describing your job/visa status in US and stating that you are inviting your
brother to US during his vacation.

Hello,

Thanks a lot for the tip.I have already sent him an invitation letter and copies of my passport.He can show his bank statements for proof of funds and, a trip to the US wont cost much maybe 5 to 6 hundred dollars.So lets hope he gets it.
