I am a current holder of a R B1/B2 of US which will expire in year 2015. The passport, on which US embassy issued the visa on, expired in year 2013. Since then I have travelled twice to USA on a renewed passport which is attached along with this old one(the one visa is on).
Now there is a small trouble regarding my name on the passport.
My name on my US Visa and the existing passport is:
Surname: Sethi
Given Name: Bilal Ahmad
But according to my graduation degree my name is:
Surname: Sethi
Given Name: Bilal Hussain
My first and last name being the same, my middle name is different according to my graduation degree. I want to get my passport corrected according to my graduation degree.
My question is that since I have a valid visa, if I get my passport corrected my Middle/Given name will not match that on my Visa. In that case can I still travel on this new passport or I would have to apply for a new visa first?
