Wrong name entered during visa appointment scheduling

Hi,

I created an account to schedule the visa interview for my parents. I created it in my dad's name and was adding my mom as a family member attending along with him.
I was scheduling the dates and realized i misspelled my dad's name and the update profile tab doesn't let me change the name.

I have submitted a provide feedback request to change and attached the passport copy as proof. My question is ,

should i wait until the case is resolved before I can schedule the appointment?
