Hello All,
I need some help and advise on this situation please. I am currently on a visitors visa and am currently filing for a change of status to immigrant status (green card). The problem is this is taking too long right now and I need to start school. I was told I could file the I 539 form, but I do not know if this would affect my current immigrant filing. My visitors visa expires in 2months and I have been told it may take up to 6 months before I get a response in regards to my green card filing.
