  • Nedd help in sponsoring my parents

    Hi,
I am a Green card holdre and earn $30,000 per year. My husband is U.S. citizen and earn $60,000 per year. I want to sponsor my parents from India.I am pregnant and will be delivering a baby in January.I have Few questions.

Ques:1: who should sponser my parents, that can increase the possibility of getting visa? Me or my husband? I heard that I should sponsor my parents because I am working, otherwise they won't get visa.I want my husband to sponser them. Is it ok?

Ques:2: Should i mention in invitation latter that I am pregnant and i want to invite my parents to see us and my baby ?

Ques:3: As me and my husband both are working, we have o dependent.what should we write in name of dependent in que-8 of form I 134?

I am confused. Please answer my questions ASAP.

    Thanks in advance
    Mital.

Several people sponsor their inlaws ; there is no problem with that.
He should sponsor, since his income is more.
But the main problem with your case is the delivery issue.
If you read the several posts on this forum you will know, the chaces of getting visas are slim if the daughter is pregnant. Even if you do not mention
this in your invitation letter , the consulars may routinely ask this
    from your parents.
