Visitor US Visa from Canada

Hi,

I'm currently working in Canada on Work permit and want to visit my brother in US. But this is second time I'm applying for visitor visa,
last year I tried to get visitor visa but immigration officer asked me to apply for L1/H1 becoz of my current employer has operations in USA also. But my purpose of visit is just to visit my brother and his family in USA. I would like to know what are the precautions I should take to avoid refual again. And also second time refusal will affect my future visits in USA?

Just stress that you are going to US on tourist visa, just for tourism.

So I shouldn't tell them that I want to visit my brother? I'm going for tourism purpose only? Also, do I need to mention in my documents that I'm reapplying ?

You can mention about visiting family. That is valid purpose of tourist visa.

If you have been rejected earlier, you have to mention that.
