Question on visitor visa appointment?

Hi, I have taken a visitor visa interview appointment for my mother-in-law. In the online application DS156, I have mentioned in section 34 that my father-in-law will be travelling with her on the trip. Should I take another appointment for my father-in-law or can they go together on the same appointment? Both of them have paid visa application fee and got receipts from the HDFC bank Bangalore.

That is not enough.

Did you actually add your father-in-law as in the list of people who are going to attend the interview? If not, you need to do that.

How did you get the interview dates?

I have been trying everyday, it says no Interview dates available, when did you book this and which dates are available?

I did not. For some reason my father-in-laws receipt number was not working when I took the appointment, so I could not add him that time. I plan to get that corrected. I booked the appointment since there was only one date available.

Is it possible to add him after his HDFC receipt issue gets corrected? If so, could you please explain the process?

Yesterday Nov 10th early morning around 4 dates opened up for appointments. But they were taken within few hours. March 10th was available for almost whole day, but that too was taken. You need to keep checking the availability more often
