Does duration of Employment matters for sponsoring Tourist visa?

I am in USA and wanted to apply tourist visa for my parents. I came to know from this web site that I need employer letter for each applicant.

How does that affect the visa if I recently changed my employer and total duration with the my current (new) employer is hardly 2 weeks?

Are you on an H-1b? employer letter or salary slip /pay stub. One is enough for both the parents. Yes, they do ask for the child's employment proof.
I do not think it will matter that you changed jobs recently . They will want to know how long you have been in US.
But in the ent, there is officer discretion that can vary.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I am on H1-B visa. Good to know that there is no condition for job duration and I agree it all matters with mood of consulate.
