  • Re-entering US after 2 weeks

Hi- I am a Peruvian citizen and I will be visiting the US for the first time on a B2 visa. I plan to stay in the country for about three months, touring the West Coast, before going back to Peru for two weeks during Christmas to see my family. After those two weeks, I plan to return to the US for an additional three month stay, this time touring the East Coast.

Will I have a problem at the port of entry when I return to the US for my second visit, following my two week stay in Peru? In other words, will I have any problems due to the fact that I am returning to the US after only two weeks outside the country?

    Thank you!

Yes, you are likely to have problems. Returning too quickly is not a natural thing to do for pleasure visits and makes them
think you are a potential immigrant.

You are very likely to get a 6 month stay on your first visit. So use it to the full in one go. If you have to go back to Peru after 3 months , then space the two visits with at least a 4-5 month interval.
