Visitor Visa fees changed - Effective from Nov 16th

Effective Wednesday, November 16, 2005 the United States consular sections in India will adjust the exchange rate used for consular transactions from Rs. 44 to Rs. 46 to the dollar. Please note that the exchange rate is subject to future change.

My parents have their interview on Nov16th. Should they carry the DD's for the newer rate or older rate. Their appt is through the TTS. It has been stated that only the application fee and the issuance fee has been changed. What abt the TTS-services fee of Rs.441.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

They need to carry demand drafts for Rs. 4,600 + Rs. 2,300 + Rs. 441.

My father has already taken the DD for the old fee structure, so instead of cancelling the old one can he take an additional DD for Rs 200 and Rs 100 respectively. So he will be having 2 DD's for Rs4600 that is Rs4400+Rs200 and Rs 2200+Rs.100. Will that be fine ?
