Name in passport

HI,

My Father is going to apply for indian passport and currently in india. He is going to visit to USA soon with visitors visa to stay with us. His middle name is Mohan in this documents but in my passport, fathers name it is mohana.

So i am not sure what to use i the passport while applying. whether it is mohana or mohan.


please let us know.

Apply for reissue

If you are applying for visa the name should perfectly match the name in your passport. If your father's middle name in passport is Mohana give that info on the visa.

Otherwise reapply for the passport and select category as "Changes in Existing details".
