visitor visa

I am inviting my 27 year old brother here in US ,as I am celebrating my son's birthday in January .he was refused a visitor visa in 2012 .
he is married but he is going to interview without his wife as he is planning a trip without his wife ,as wife will b handling business while he is away .
any suggestions for the interview ????
please advice I am here in this country for 11 years and it is very disheartening that my brother cannot come and visit me .

He should apply along with his wife.
That gives better results than applying single.
