B1/B2 visa on basis of interview call for residency

Hi
I am received one interview call from New York Hospital for residency with date confirmed via ERAS message. I had a question will be able to get the visa B1/B2 for the same, as i am in India and still have not started any job here. I had previously 5 months visa( JAN to May) with which i gave my step 2 cs and did some clinical externships.

chances would be better if you had more than one interview call. But if you don't get more calls, you have to try with one. It all depends on the officer if he will give you the visa.
