How to cancel appointment online
My parents had taken appointment by applying in person.
Now there are earlier dates avaliable for interview, I want to reschedule the appointment date, some where i read on this forum that it is no longer possible to reschedule the appointment.
I have to cancel the earlier one and take a new appointment.
Can this be done online , i am trying to use the Reschedule/Cancel option from vfs-usa website, but its giving message as "Details not found".
If i try to use the reciept number to create a new appointment, it says reciept number used.
Any one knows how to cancle the appointment online and can i use the same reciept number to get a new appointment?
OR Does some one has to go in person to get the new appointment?
How safe it is to cancel the current appointment date and get new one, does it happen immediately or there is possiblity that I might loose the current date and end up getting a more further date.
