B1/B2 help

Hello - I used to live in the states for 7 years back in the 1990's - i made a mistake later in the time and entered on a tourist visa even though I had a H1 approval it was not stamped and ultimately i stayed too long and ended up being refused re entry for a long time - however I have now got a 12 months B1/B2 which i had to go to Sydney for an interview and then wait about 6 months for approval - we have been twice this year as my Son is at university in New York
my visa runs out in Jan 2015 and I wanted to know can i book an appointment to see a consultant and apply for an extension or a new b1/B2 while i am in NY next week - or do i have to go through the whole process again and the wait time as previously.

just wondered if there is any way by being in the USA ( next week) for 10 days seeing my son if I can do anything ?

If I understand your question correctly; you want a new B1/B2 while you are in the US.

B1/B2 visas are always issued at missions outside US, never renewed or granted inside US.
Only your current stay can be extended to a few months while inside US.

What is your nationality sir?
Please post details about why you had to go to Sydney for an interview and why a 6 month wait ?
Maybe there won't be a wait the next time.

i am from Pakistan and my b1/b2 visa was refused on 18 oct-2014. now i am applying again in this month

than she said we are not issuing you a visa


now please guide me no circumstances being changed except my company designation has changed and my salary increased to 60k per month.Cusomer invitation letter and email communicatinion only i have.
company statement and all my expenses during stay in US my company will bear.please help how can i get visa in this situation
