Mother-in-law visitor visa rejected 2nd time
My mother-in-law went to Chennai Consulate on 11/14/2005 and visa was denied. THis is our second try. They asked only 2 questions.
Q1. Who is there is US?
Ans: Daughter & son-in-law.
Q2. Dont you have a son?
Ans: Have one but he lives in India.
THen he says Sorry, your visa is denied. She asked why? They said because of some reasons and he did not elaborate any more. THey did not ask for any more documents.
She went for a telugu translator and there were several rejects from that counter.
Some of the reasons I am extrapolating:
1) I have a green card.
2) My Father-in-law is self-employed and has his own business.
We were not desperate to get a visa. We wanted her to come for a short period of time and have good time here. Bad luck I guess.
We will give few months and try again.
Any body have suggestions for next time?
