B2 Visa for Deaf and Dumb Mom.

Hi,

I got my H1B stamped and soon will be travelling to US.

My clarification is there any chance to get B2 Visa for my mom visit to US.

She is Deaf and Dumb and an widow. She depend on me. But she has her own property here(House and land).

she will be attending her visa interview in Chennai consulate.

What are the procedures to follow and what types of assistance I can get from Chennai consulate.

please help me on this.

if she has no other children in India, then chances of visa approval are very low for her, I am sorry.
The reasons are she has a disability, she is a widow and she is dependent on you so the officer will surely think she will stay with you in
US and will not return to India.

And Applying for her even before you have left is another big mistake.
