I am going to Canada on WP soon. I have my sister and her family in the US. To visit them, where should I apply for visitor's visa? In India or Canada? Where would it make better sense?

You should apply in canada, but not right away. Apply after you
have worked a few months on your work permit.

Canada should do, after a while you work there, But if you wanna fly stright obviously in India.
