  • Time gap between two trips on Visitors visa

    Hi,

My parents-in-law got their visitors visa for 10 yrs with multiple entry in Feb. 2005. They came to US and stayed with us for about 4 and half months. But they were given 6 months at the port of entry. I would appreciate any feedback if anybody knows about the time gap between two visits because we are planning to call them again. During their second visit how long they can stay here in US (3 months? 6 months? or 1 year?)

    Thanks

There is no official rule about time gap between 2 visits.

But if the visitor tries to spend more time in US than outside US, they may not be allowed to enter the US and sent back.
