Filling form for my parents

I filled the DS 160 for my parents and I later realized that I should have selected Yes at the end of the application where it asks if someone helped. I kept thinking it was applicable to agents or outside parties and not a family member but I realize that's not the case. Is that a big issue? The reason is my dad can use dropbox but after submitting the docs he has now has been called for interview and there is no explanation as to why. Has anyone faced this issue before? Can they use this to deny application considering it was an honest over sight or was this just a random interview call.

If you helped him, 'Did someone help?' does not have have to checked.

That is for visa agents, travel agents and other such persons.

Thanks thats what I thought but actually on an immihelp site it lists that children filling for parents also counts. See this link, there is a section here that says you have to use Yes even for children
