There is a sample for an employment letter posted there. You
can add a line sanctioning leave to that.

My mom is a teacher too. Thsi is a format I had.

Leave Sanction letter format:

With reference to your application dated <date>, you have been sanctioned computed leave for 6 months from <start date> to <end date>. On expiry of leave, you should report for duty on <date>.





However I had combined the employment letter and leave santion into one:

To Whom It May Concern

This is to certify that < YYYY XX> is working in our Institution, <name of institution>, <place> as a permanent teacher.

Her leave for USA trip has been sanctioned for 6 months from <date> to <date>. On expiry of leave she would report for duty on <date>. Please feel free to contact us if your office should require any further information.
