Affidavit for Mother and Father

Hi,

I wanted to check if we need to get the affidavit for mother and father on stamp paper and if yes what should be the denomitation of stamp paper?

My Inlaws will be going for their visa interview at Kolkata Consulate.

My parents got it notarized on Rs.10 stamp paper.....(That was recommended by CA)....hope this helps!

Hi Day,

The affidavit need not be in stamp paper. It can be in a sheet of paper and the contents can be signed by the Gazetted officer. that will work. that is what my parents in law did when they went for the interview and it worked.
