I am a Canadian citizen and currently working in US under TN. My wife will be finish school and switch over to F1-OPT. She has secured a paid-intern position in another state, which means I would need to quit my job and relocate there as well. I know my TN would no longer be valid after quitting my job, and I want to move and stay with her with a legal status. So how should i proceed without leaving US? Is it possible for me to change status to F2 without leaving US? If so, when should i change my status? and Will there be a problem because her salary won't be high but we did accumulate some saving for the last few years while I'm working here with a TN?
