question about form DS 157

i want to sponser my parents on B2 visa.
Do they need to fill out DS 157 form? If yes then both of them or just my dad?

I think with the new system in place. it's mandatory to fill out the DS 157 form for all. You will have to fill out DS 156 and DS 157 for them and guess only then you will be able to schedule the appointment.

I haven't personally used VFS but this is from what I have heard.

I believe that you need to fill form D157 only if you are a male aged between 16-45.

Go a couple of pages down and see the 3rd bullet point in section called "Application by Interview".

Every male applicant between the age of 16 and 45 applicant must also submit a fully completed and signed Supplemental Application Form DS-157

Actually the procedures just changed. DS-157 is now mandatory for all
applicants.
We haven't had the time to get the consulate website updated yet.

'if applicable' as it says for DS-158.

My in-laws are 62 and 58 respectively and they want to apply for
