Applying for Visitor VISA from UK to US

Hi,

I had applied for visitor visa from London to US and it was rejected on the reason that i cannot prove that i have sufficient ties outside of US that would compel me to return. I am currently in UK for on work for 6 months.

I am looking for information whether it would help re-applying from London and if yes what kind of documentation should i provide to prove that i have intention of returning to India.

Since you are in UK only for a 6 month period, I suggest you apply when you
return to India.
A short 6 month commitment in UK will always go against you in two ways;
firstly, you have already shown your intent to work outside India by
working in UK, so they presume you may have intent to work in US as well.
Secondly, since it is a short 6 month commitment, it does not even show
your ties to your work in UK, so they presume you may not even return
to UK from US.

May be you can also say that becoz you are closer to US, you thought you could visit and go back to India.
