Hey Guys.
I just received an email from the Consulate in Sydney that they received my clearance for the tourist visa (after 9 months) and my visa is ready to issue. They give me a deadline of 3 months to collect the visa. Due to my nationality, we have only three month visa to enter to the US. The problem is I need to keep my passport till late December due to several business travels so I can't send my passport now. My question is whether the expiry date of the visa is three months after the clearance day or three months of the expiry day starts from the day of visa issue. Simply put, I will send them my passport before three-month deadline in early Jan. However, i wonder once they issue my visa I have to go to the US immediately or I have three months to arrange my trip from the day of visa issue.
Please help me in this matter. Thanks
