  • Problem of having TWO VISA interview simultaneously

In DS156 form there is one question, it is
"Have you ever been issued a U.S visa, if yes, when, where, what type of visa"
My question is related to this.

I don't have any US visa yet, but in Dec'05 i have H1b visa interview with the US counsalate. Now, my present employer is applying for B1 visa for me, and in the DS156 for this B1 i answered *NO* to the above question since i as of now i don't have any US visa. I got B1 visa interview in feb'06, and if by that time if i get my h1 visa, then in DS156 of B1 I will be having a wrong information. I can't wait till dec'05 and apply for B1, then i will get dates in May'06. I need to travel using B1 in month of feb'06. Please help.
    Please help

At any point of time, answer whatever is true at that time.

If you are filling the form for H1 and you don't have any visa yet, say so.

If you have any other visa at the time of interview, say so. If asked for discrepancy, explain that you got B1 visa after applying for H1.
