  • Separate appointments for parents travelling together

    Hi,

I need urgent help regarding my parents US Visa interview Schedule. I created two separate profiles for them and did not add them as family members. Even-though I haven't scheduled anything so far; since my parents paid the money separately they can not be added as member to have interview together. I need to know if its better to -

1)schedule in interview together in the same time slot and then let consulate people know about their situation and ask for same counter

    OR

2)Schedule two separate interviews (one for my mother and other for father ) so that they have all the documents handy

P.S. Their DS160 mentions that they are travelling together so what questions will they face of they go for interview together as its all together my fault since I missed "Add member" field

If the family members traveling together, they should apply together.

Creating two separate profiles and scheduling interviews separately will leads to doubts and problems.

If you didn't schedule the interview, then you can cancel forms and start new DS160.

If you are unable to create new form or add member, contact your consulate people directly.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.
