Planning to bring my parents to the US to see my child who will be born next year. Dad is almost 68 and mom is 59. They don't have any property in their name or a hefty bank balance. They stay with my sister and take care of her generally sick 4 yr old son back home. My husband owns property in India. I did my masters in the US and unemployed now during my pregnancy. Both my husband and I will be sponsoring their visa. What ties can my parents show to their home country? Also, my H4 is currently being processed now. I'm in the US moving from student visa to dependent visa. Should I wait for my H4 or can I process their B2 visa in parallel?

You don't have to wait for your status change before they apply for their visitors visa.
If they don't have house, bank balance or job or any such thing, it would be harder to prove strong ties to home country based on their daughter being there. However, the fact is a fact. They have to try their best with a given situation.Immihelp Support
