I94 Showing departure dates while I am still in USA on B2

I arrived in USA on October 28, 2014 and my return ticket booked on November 17, 2014 but the I94 will be expire onApril 27, 2015 but I find an entry for departure on November 17, 2014 with the Port of Entry/Exit field populated as "CHI - DISTRICT OFFICE 9, CHICAGO, IL" while I never departed USA. when I check my I94 online it showing my departure date November 17 but I am still in the country what exactly that mean - please guide me so I can take a proper action.

    Thanks inAdvance

I'm not sure but I assume...now a days manual updation of i94 discontinued and it will be automatically updated as per the return ticket booked.

That means, if you postpone your date of journey to Dec 20th, then it will show that date it seems.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.

Did you declare in DS-160 or at POE or anywhere that you intend to leave Nov -17?

I would say that you are still fine to stay till April 2015 in this trip but if you did indeed declare Nov 2014 as departure but continued to stay till April 2015 then it seems they are tracking what people mention in documents/interviews and what actually they end up doing, and may eventually question this during next trip/visa interview.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
