Hi,
I am currently based in US working on H1B. I am planning to schedule my parents to apply for their B2 Visa in coming few weeks. My father is a Professor at a Govt Science College and mother is a housewife. My father's retirement from the Govt job is scheduled in April of 2015 and their intended travel date is in May 2015. The intended travel date would also show up in the DS160 form.
In such a a case, would my Father be still needing an official Govt leave approval letter for his travel scheduled after his retirement (given the interview appointment is scheduled before he retires).
Inputs/directions in this regard would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
K
